Our Ethos
At Simply JOJO, we endeavour to create handcrafted luxury products which are as sustainable as possible.
All our materials have been carefully selected wherever possible, both for their performance, their sustainability & their ethical qualities.
Where we are not able to work with recycled or sustainable materials, we strive to develop durable products.
In addition we encourage reuse wherever possible, with a selection of refills for our most popular candles and diffusers. Ultimately, reducing packaging and cost as well as wastage.
Our Waxes
All our waxes currently are made from soy, which is known to provide a clean burn and a good scent throw.
Wherever possible, our supplier, has sourced from non-GMO sources. Unfortunately, due to the prevalence of genetically modified soybean crop in the market, it is not possible to guarantee this 100%.
Our supplier has confirmed that these waxes do not contain any residual solvents as per the CPMP/ICH283/95 guidelines.
Additionally, the waxes have not been tested on animals by either by the supplier or on their behalf; and are sustainable, vegan friendly & biodegradable.
Our Fragrances & Wicks
All our fragrances are Vegan friendly and Cruelty Free. Addtionally, they do not contain any Silicons or Parabens.
Our wicks are all made from Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Approved wood.
Our Packaging
All our packaging is either recycled or recyclable. Our candle boxes are made from recycled materials and our diffuser boxes are recyclable.
Our branded labels are made using cane fibre (Bagasse), which is a waste product from the sugar industry and they are biodegradable.
All other labels in our core ranges are made from recycled materials and our ribbon is made from recycled plastic bottles.
